When we wanted to create a dashboard and engagement KPIs for the B2B application, Google’s standard B2C metrics focused too much on individual user behavior and not enough on client behavior. We also use custom events to track users clicking buttons and executing other in-page functionality.

My product team uses Google Analytics to track B2B application usage. In addition to standard Google Analytics functionality, we use Google’s user-id functionality to track users across devices.
